Lifespan Integration
Helping the Past Catch Up to the Present
Sometimes your body holds onto experiences that your mind has long moved past. Lifespan Integration (LI), created by Peggy Pace (have a link to her information), helps your nervous system recognize that the pain is over—and that you’re safe now.
This gentle, body-informed approach helps integrate past experiences so they no longer disrupt your present. It’s especially helpful for developmental trauma, dissociation, or when you feel stuck in emotional reactivity.

Lifespan Integration Can Support:
- Trauma that feels "stuck" in the body
- Sudden triggers or flashbacks
- Emotional overwhelm or shutdown
- Healing attachment wounds
- Anchoring into present-moment safety
How It Works:
Lifespan Integration uses memory cueing, visualization, and timeline work to help the brain and body process life events in sequence. As the nervous system starts to understand that the traumatic event is in the past, emotional reactivity decreases and inner stability increases.

Who It Helps
This approach may be especially helpful if:
- You’ve done talk therapy but still feel triggered or stuck
- You have big emotions that seem out of proportion to the moment
- You dissociate or go numb during stress
- You feel like part of you is still "living in the past"
- You want a gentle, non-verbal path to trauma healing
